You may have watched a basic-cable TV show like Kitchen Nightmares, Bar Rescue, Hotel Impossible, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover and the like, where a business expert comes in and then completely takes over and revamps a business in a couple of days.
Usually, tears flow from the eyes of the owner(s) of the establishments in question. There’s lots of yelling and screaming. People get mad. Feelings are hurt. But in the end it’s all smiles, rainbows and unicorns as the business re-opens to adoring crowds. We’re to assume that the business becomes very successful for all involved, and everyone lives happily ever after.
It’s good, (mostly) clean fun – except for all of the electronic “beeps” covering expletives spoken by most everyone involved – and entertaining.
These kinds of shows really bother me.
